Because the Annual Meeting is approximately five weeks away, please confirm by 5:00 p.m. on September 18 that the required election will be held, and provide the process and timeline for submitting nominations.

A few of us, though not everyone on the August 20 notice, have consulted with a reputable attorney regarding this matter. If we do not receive confirmation by September 18 that the Board will comply with the election requirements in the Covenants, we intend to retain that attorney to send a formal demand letter.

You already have cost the membership hundreds (if not thousands of dollars) by the original letter you sent earlier. Again, the current board did not cause this. The previous board who all resigned at once caused this. Once we get an opinion from our attorney it will be shared with the residents of Tamarack.

We are not asking the Board to concede anything in advance. We are asking for an opportunity to resolve the disagreement directly before additional costs are incurred.
