Election meeting turns to unrelated personal jabs over Tamarack’s dispute with Morse Landing

  • Election

The October 7 community meeting was scheduled to explain the Board’s election decision. Near the end, two of the Board’s committee members shifted the discussion to residents’ letters to Cicero, which supported the Pond 4 landscaping work and opposed the Board’s Town Council proposal to “put up a fence” between Tamarack and Morse Landing.

The husband-and-wife committee members called the letters “targeted,” warned of “serious financial consequences,” and blamed them for unrelated landscaping delays.

One speaker blasted Stephen Warner and Todd Banvich by name, called their actions “petty,” and accused them of trying to stall Board work. Warner disputed the accusations and asked to read his letter; the Board declined. The existing recording collection preserves the three excerpts.
